Christmas Hiatus (Sort of)

{Source}
Can you hear the distant sleigh bells approaching?

Over the Christmas period we are going to be at home spending time with family which means I am without regular Internet connection.  This means that I will not be able to do any blogging until January, however, there is still plenty to be getting on with as animals need help every single day.  The best way to keep in touch and up to date is to follow me on Twitter which I am able to access via my mobile phone.

There are a lot of issues on my mind at the moment so it is with a heavy heart that I close down the blog over this period, but I will be active on Twitter so please, please join me there.

I will be back in January with more campaigns and some Christmas pictures of Suki and Rusty!

With love and best wishes to you all and thank you for all your hard work this year.

Save the Tiger!

Did you know that there are around just 3,200 tigers in the wild at the moment? This is an incredibly small number and unfortunately it is decreasing. Tiger habitat is being lost rapidly and poaching has increased in recent months.

We can do something about this and there is still hope for tigers. They need protection, space and food in order for number to increase.

In 57 days the Tiger Summit is being held in St Petersburg, Russia and the World Wildlife Fund need our help to get as many signatures on their petition in time for this deadline to give tigers a chance.

Action stations!

1. Please sign the petition
2. Then tell your friends
3. Then use Facebook, Twitter, My Space to show your support for the campaign (there is even a nice badge for you to display on your Facebook/Twitter profile photo showing your support)

Can you sign this petition please?

Do you have a minute to sign this petition against the Conservatives repealing the Fox Hunting Ban? It is important that we show the Prime Minister just how many of us are against this cruel sport. If you do sign, please then click the button underneath to share the petition with your friends on Facebook and/or Twitter.

Talking of foxes, do any of you in the UK watch Springwatch on BBC 2? If you watched it last night you would have seen the images and videos of the rare black fox. It was fascinating. Springwatch are asking people to keep a look out for any black foxes they happen to see and try to take a picture or video and send it to them here.
